Martin Luther King
Martin Luther King was born on January 15,1929. Was an American pastor, activist, humanitarian, and leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. MLK was influenced by Mahatma Gandhi to use nonviolence. His father called him Martin Luther King JR. From a Baptist leader he was a civil rights leader. In 1955 he lead the Montgomery bus boycott. Martin Luther King also lead a march at Washington where he also did his "I have a dream" speech. On October 14 1964 he received the Noble peace prize.
